The property, which is understood to have been purchased by Perry for $4,995,000 in May 2023, was originally listed in May of this year for $5,195,000. However, after spending four months on the market without attracting a buyer, that asking price was discounted by a little under half a million dollars.
Perry, who died in October 2023 at his home in nearby Pacific Palisades, is thought to have never actually lived in the Hollywood Hills property, although it may be that its tie to the late actor and his tragic death has cast something of a shadow over the home.
