Doris Day’s California Home Is Listed for $7.4 Million

Doris Day was one of the biggest stars of the 1950s and 60s, so it seems only fitting that she had a home worthy of her stature. After the star’s death last year at age 97, there was some question as to what would happen to her stunning Carmel Valley abode. Now, for the first time, it is for sale, at a cool $7.4 million. The secluded 8.62 acre property and home includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, some of which are in the compound’s two gatehouse apartments or separate guest house cottage. The property includes its own oak trees, gardens, and views of the Santa Lucia mountains.
